Assistant Professor Steven Abel was selected to receive an Undergraduate Research Faculty Mentor of the Year Award for the Tickle College of Engineering.

The award recognizes UT faculty members who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to mentoring undergraduate researchers. In order to be eligible, faculty must have been nominated by multiple students and at least one of those students must have presented at Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (EURēCA).
