CBE senior Brad Bennett and two other Tickle College of Engineering students finished second in the Graves Business Plan Competition.
Bennett and electrical engineering majors Makenzie Swicegood and Alex Weber created BackDoor, a smartphone application developed to help locate lost pets. The goal of the app is to ease the process by combining existing pet chips with a social media-style platform giving smartphone users the ability to scan and connect lost pets to their owners.
