The American Institute of Chemical Engineers announced the results of its most recent election on Monday, and the department has a connection to the new board of directors.
Chief Scientist for Biotechnology at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Chief Science Officer at the US Department of Energy’s Center for Bioenergy Innovation Brian Davison was chosen as one of the new board members and will serve a three-year term. Davison has served as an adjunct professor in the department.
