Rigoberto Advincula has joined the department as UT-ORNL Governor’s Chair for Advanced and Nanostructured Materials, further strengthening the relationship with ORNL.

Students and faculty from CBE recently got a chance to travel to FIPR to test a developmental process for rare earth recovery from an alternative source.

Michael Kilbey, professor of chemisty and chemical and biomolecular engineering, is working with UT and ORNL on polymeric materials.
